Before            After

On October 3, 2014, I entered My Father’s House.  I was a 52-year-old woman in full blown alcoholism and drug addiction with no morals, no respect for myself or others, no structure, not much hope, and no Jesus. My relationships with my children were so broken that I wasn’t even allowed to see my grandchildren. My life was a mess! I wanted change, but knew I couldn’t change on my own.  I had lived this way for most of my life. My Father’s House changed my life. Marsha reintroduced me to Jesus.  She took me to church, Celebrate Recovery, and I got a real job.  I learned how to be a productive member of society.  Through Christ and the 12-steps of Celebrate Recovery I was able to forgive myself for my past, which had held me captive in my own sin prison.  If my Lord and Savior forgave me so could I!

Today, I am a recovering alcoholic/addict. I surrendered my life to God, with Him ALL things are possible! I learned this life is not about serving self, it’s about serving God and others. It’s about sharing the love of Christ wherever I go! I will be forever grateful to My Father’s House. I am working on 5 years of sobriety. All the honor goes to God and My Father’s House!
